Guide Count In Settings; Global or Song Section Specific

The guide count-in ("Bridge, Two, Three, Four") is something that can be turned on globally for ALL song sections, or can be enabled/disabled for each individual song section.

Guide Count Into Each Section Setting (Global)

To enable the guide count into every section of every song in your Playback app, navigate to the "General" settings tab, and tap the toggle to enable the "Count Into Each Section" setting. Tap the three-line menu icon in the top-right of Playback > Select "Settings" > Select the "General" tab, then find "Count Into Each Section."

Guide Count Into Individual Section Setting (Section Specific)

In some cases, you may want to only have a count-in for one specific song section, maybe one song section your band is struggling to hit each time, or when there's a time signature change coming. It's possible within the song section edit menu to enable or disable the count in for a single song section.

  1. To enable or disable the count-in for a single specific song section, enter "Setlist / Song Map" edit mode by tapping "Edit" in the top-right of the Playback app, and then making sure you're "Setlist / Song Map" edit mode is selected in the edit menu drawer.

  2. While in Edit Mode, tap the song-section circle icon for the section you want to edit the setting for.

  3. Then toggle on or off the "Play Section Count In" setting, and click "Update."

Behavior Saving in Named Arrangements/Setlists

This setting can be saved within the setlist to use within the same setlist across other devices.
In addition to setlist saving, these unique settings can also be saved to a Named Arrangement* which allows you to recall that in any future setlist.

*Saving Named Arrangements Requires Cloud Pro which is a separate purchase or included in the Live Bundle or the MultiTracks One bundle.

Section Guide Cue Behavior Settings

By default, the built-in Playback guide will cue every upcoming song section one measure before that song section. This feature cannot be disabled globally, but can be disabled for individual song sections.

To disable this setting for individual song sections, follow the same steps as above:

  1. Enter "Setlist / Song Map" edit mode by tapping "Edit" in the top-right corner of the Playback app, and then ensure "Setlist / Song Map" edit mode is selected in the edit menu drawer.

  2. While in Edit Mode, tap the song-section circle icon for the section you want to edit the setting for.

  3. Toggle off the "Play Section Guide Cue" setting to disable the guide cue for that specific song section.

These changes can also be saved to the setlist, or to a named arrangement for future recall across setlists or devices. (Requires Cloud Pro to save to named arrangements).
