ChartBuilder 4.1.7 - Release Notes

Written by Trevor

Summary

Version 4.1.7 launches a new Demo Setlist experience: a full MT One trial inside ChartBuilder that lets you, or people with your organization try Playback, ChartBuilder, RehearsalMix, and Chart Pro on real songs with simple setup. This release also ships a critical fix for customers who were stuck on the load screen after updating, plus a handful of Chart Settings, arrangement, and offline-annotation fixes.

New Features

  • New Demo Setlist experience. A redesigned Demo Setlist that gives new users a full ecosystem preview across one or more demo setlists, including Playback, Charts, RehearsalMix, and Chart Pro. Enter a Demo Setlist Code to unlock private or event-specific setlists, see a “Redeemable Until” date on each one, and open demo setlists directly from your Account tab.

Improvements to Existing Features

  • Cleaner Demo Setlist Code entry. Entering only whitespace in the Demo Setlist Code field now correctly keeps the Submit button disabled instead of showing a misleading “Setlist Not Found” error.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some customers were unable to open ChartBuilder and were stuck on the load screen on older OS versions. ChartBuilder now launches reliably again for affected users.

  • Fixed a bug in Edit Song Map where renaming an arrangement you hadn’t selected would incorrectly rename the currently selected arrangement. Only the arrangement you’re editing is renamed now.

  • Fixed duplicate entries showing for the selected PDF chart in Chart Settings after coming back from Edit Song Map.

  • Fixed an issue where you couldn’t rename an existing annotation while offline. Annotation renames now save on-device and sync back when you reconnect.

  • Fixed a delay where the RehearsalMix player could sit in a processing state for a couple of minutes on Android when opening a setlist under unusual network conditions. The player now loads without the delay.
