Before getting started:
Creating cloud songs and charts requires a Cloud Pro subscription (also included in the Live Bundle or MultiTracks One bundles).
How to Export the PDF for a MultiTracks.com Cloud Song Chart
Navigate to your library, and either create your new cloud song, or navigate to an already-created cloud song.
Creating your first cloud song? See 📖Creating Cloud Song Charts for additional details.
Once a cloud song with chord pro data is complete in the "Chart Data" tab, there is a new "PDF Charts" tab available to access a rendered PDF of your custom cloud song chart.
Ensure you've selected "Save & Preview" before leaving the "Chart Data" page, and that all song section previews on the "Chart Data" tab are showing as expected for your lyrics and chord data. Leaving this page without saving with the "Save & Preview" could result in lost work, or unexpected results in the PDF render if changes are properly saved to the chart.
Editing the PDF Chart settings
After selecting the "PDF Charts" tab, the saved chart data will be rendered into a PDF with the default MultiTracks.com chart settings. If any changes need to be made, they can be accessed using the side settings panel for the PDF chart. The changes do not immediately take effect, and the "Update" button will need to be selected before the PDF chart is re-created with the selected settings.
The following settings can be changed for the PDF chart preview:
Arrangement
(Named arrangements created and saved from ChartBuilder or Playback).Key
Chart Type (Chords, Lyrics, or Song Map only)
Chord Display (formatting of chords)
Layout (single or double column)
Style (Full/Condensed)
Font
Color/B&W
Song Map Toggle
Section Outline Toggle
MD Notes Toggle
Resetting Chart Settings to default
The chart settings can also be reset to their default settings using the "Reset to default" button at the top of the chart settings panel toward the right of the chart preview.
Fixing any Chart Data discrepencies
If an error surfaces within a song section in the PDF that indicates "There is a formatting error," this means there is an issue with that specific line of Chord Pro data in the Chart Data. These instances can be resolved by navigating back to the "Chart Data" tab, and ensuring all chords follow the expected Chord Pro formatting guide. (This guide can be accessed using the "Download tutorial" button while on the "Chart Data" tab).
Downloading the PDF Chart
Once the PDF is configured with the desired settings, the chart can then be downloaded using the blue "Download" button at the top of the chart settings panel to the right of the chart preview.
