MT Complete Songs in ChartBuilder & RehearsalMix

NOTICE: MT Complete songs support for the ChartBuilder app are currently only be available in ChartBuilder beta version 4.0.5. For access, please complete our ChartBuilder Beta Form to be added to the beta group!

The charts and RehearsalMix files for a MultiTracks Complete are both song and genre specific. All of the charts and RehearsalMix files for every genre, will be under the umbrella of the MT complete song. For example, if you're renting the Gospel version of "That's My King" from the website or in Playback, and only have that selected, ChartBuilder and RehearsalMix will default to only showing the RehearsalMix files and charts for that specific genre of that MT Complete song in the setlist.

This default setting can still be changed by admins or team members on their specific devices.

Tip: it may be helpful to communicate with your team members which genre to listen to when practicing on their own, or ensure they're practicing in the context of the setlist they're planned for, so they're practicing the genre you're expecting them to.

Default ChartBuilder chart and RehearsalMix behavior

There is an order of precedence when it comes to the genres of a MT Complete song. The order of those genres from top to bottom is:

  • Contemporary

  • Gospel

  • Orchestral

  • Acoustic

When renting or selecting multiple genres in the context of a setlist, ChartBuilder will load the highest genre in the order. For example, if an admin schedules an MT Complete song from the website, and rents the Contemporary version, with the Acoustic version also, the charts and RehearsalMix files in ChartBuilder will default to the highest genre in the list; Contemporary.

Changing the genre in ChartBuilder or RehearsalMix on the website

The genre of the song can be changed in ChartBuilder by ChartBuilder user, including team members, from the song's chart preferences menu. Simply click the key of the song to open up the chart settings menu, and then select the genre at the top with the new genre selector.

If the genre selector is not present, ensure the ChartBuilder app is up to date to version 4.0.6 or newer, and the current selected chart is an MT Complete song.

RehearsalMix on the website:

RehearsalMix on the website is very similar, where the genres that are rented or selected for the MT Complete songs will be available, and the other genres will not be available. The genre's are selected or edited by Admins or Team Leaders from the website when adding or editing songs in a setlist:

RehearsalMix and charts in Planning Center for MT Complete songs

Currently, MT Complete songs will not be available in Planning Center Services through the current integrations. This means Chart Pro, RehearsalMix, and RehearsalPack integrations will not include RehearsalMix and charts for MT Complete songs.
