Account Pages | The Library

A quick description and information on the library pages accessible by admins on a MultiTracks.com organization.

Written by Trevor

The MultiTracks.com Library page can be found using the drop-down "Account" tab, the left pane of any other account page, or on the right account sidebar on mobile.

Note: The website library page is only available to Team Leaders, Campus Admins, or Organization Admins. If you do not see the library tab on your account, you may be signed in as a team member on the organization.

What is the library?

The MultiTracks.com library can be access on the website at MultiTracks.com, or in the ChartBuilder or Playback apps as well. The library is your organization's collections of all songs, and data that is associated with those songs.

You can add any song to your library for free, and access content for songs by purchasing content or accessing through subscriptions.

Adding Songs to the Library

Auto-adding songs to library

There are a number of cases where songs will automatically be added to your library. It's generally if you ever do any of the following on MultiTracks.com or in the Playback or ChartBuilder app:

  • Adding a song to a setlist that's not in your library; the song will be auto-added to your library.

  • Purchasing content for the song not in your library

  • Unlocking or renting content for the song (Playback Rental, Chart PDF unlock with Chart Pro, or unlocking the ProPresenter Template through the Stage Display Add-On.

  • Importing a song's resources into Planning Center via the MultiTracks.com integration or into ProPresenter via the MultiTracks.com integrations.

It's important to understand that songs can exist in your library without having any purchased unlocked content associated with the song. Since songs can be auto-added to your library via adding to setlists, etc. The library can be used to see which content, if any, you have unlocked for a specific song.

Manually adding songs to the library

Any song can also manually be added to the library via options on the MultiTracks.com website. Simply clicking the "plus" icon on a song's page, or using the three-dots on a song in search and selecting "Add to Library" will add the song to your library.

Removing songs from the library

Any song can be removed from the library by using the three-dot menu on a song's page in your library, or on the main library page to the far right of a song row.

Note: Removing a song from your library will remove all custom arrangements, MIDI cues, uploaded charts, and all stored data for that particular song.

When removing a song from your library, you won't lose access to any purchased content. Purchased content is always available in your account in the "Downloads" tab, where you can filter by product.
