This MainStage Bundle captures my 3 favorite Ambient Shimmer Pads created using various keyboards and shimmer reverb pedals and effects. I’ve also included a collection of Bonus MainStage Patches in the template.
These unique Shimmer Pads and Bonus Patches have been used a lot on recent Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United albums and the Bonus MainStage Patches were used on older albums and songs like 'With Everything', 'Break Free' and 'My Future Decided'.
These Ambient Shimmer Pads can be used in a variety of ways:
As ambient pad drones to fill out a worship song,
As a transition tool to bridge gaps between songs,
A soundscaping tool for live performance.
Because they are not tempo specific, they can be used in any tempo, time signature, and the bundle includes every key. They've been crafted musically to work equally well in songs that are in Major or Minor keys.
This bundle ONLY requires MainStage 3 or higher and doesn't require any additional software or plugins.
For each key there are 10 possible Pad Shimmers triggered through MainStage’s EXS24 sample player. Each sample was recorded for 2 minutes and looped inside the EXS24 player to give you an infinite shimmer pad. I’ve also included additional playable versions as well for flexibility and variety.
Downloading
To make the download more manageable, we've split this product into multiple downloads. You can download the MainStage file and the Samples independently by choosing each on in the dropdown menu next to the product.
To recombine them right click on the MainStage template and select "Show Package Contents".
Then copy all the samples within the four folders you downloaded into the 'Samples' folder. Keep the Samples in their individual folders. You can delete the folders that have Add Individual Folders in this folder to Samples Folder in the title.
Production Description
Ambient Pads
I’ve included all Pad ambiences in 3 different octave positions Low, Mid and High. This gives you real-time control of the volumes of each pad via volume sliders.
Ambient Pads Mix
A personal mix of all 3 Pads and all 3 octave positions. This cut down version is a lot simpler and also less CPU intensive.
