The creation of new Custom Sessions will no longer be available starting December 17, 2025.
Over the years, usage of Custom Sessions has declined as the majority of our customers have transitioned from Ableton to Playback, our flagship app for running tracks live. As a result, we've decided to retire Custom Sessions and will no longer be updating it to support future versions of Ableton.
What this means for your existing Custom Sessions
Your previously generated Custom Sessions will remain available for download in the 'My Downloads' section of your account. However:
We cannot guarantee compatibility with future Ableton updates for those existing generated sessions.
It is also not possible to purchase or generate new Custom Sessions as of December 17, 2025.
